Hit-maker and fellow country artist Lee Brice joins the podcast this week. They kick it off by talking about their shared values in being family oriented and spending time with their kids as much as possible. Lee tells how he’s converted his bus into a studio so that he can create and write on the road, and how that process has benefitted him and his band.
They talk about what it’s like to ‘pass’ on a song that later becomes a hit by someone else. This is a well known feeling by Justin, as he almost cut “Drinking Class” that later became a huge song for Lee.
They wrap up the episode with some college football talk, and share tour stories, specifically the one when Justin walked up onto Lee’s bus to find him throwing knives into the wall of his bus.
